Ballerini is "Subject to Change"

Friday, July 15, 2022 – Kelsea Ballerini will release her fifth album, "Subject to Change," on Sept. 23 on Black River Entertainemnt, she announced.

"I feel so giddy, proud, and lucky to share this next season together," Ballerini tweeted.

Ballerini released the song "Love is a Cowboy" today from the forthcoming album. The mid-tempo song features a healthy dose of mandolin in the background. She previously released "Heartfirst."

Ballerini said the music was influenced by "'90s music in general, but definitely '90s female country."

Ballerini previously released "The First Time" in2015, "Unapologetically" in 2017, "kelsea" in 2020" and a stipped down, re-recorded version of the album, "Ballerini" later that year.
