Carlile, Williams, Russell play AMERICANAFEST awards show

Wednesday, August 31, 2022 – Brandi Carlile, Lucinda Williams, Allison Russell, The War and Treaty and Morgan Wade will be among the performers at the 22nd annual Americana Honors & Awards ceremony in Nashville on Sept. 13.

Adia Victoria, Buddy Miller, Chris Isaak, Fairfield Four, Indigo Girls, James McMurtry, Lukas Nelson, The McCrary Sisters, Neal Francis, Phosphorescent and Sierra Ferrell will also peform.

These artists will be backed by Miller as he once again takes the reins of musical direction for the Americana All-Star Band featuring Brady Blade, Don Was, Jen Gunderman, Jim Hoke, Larry Campbell, Lorenzo Molina, Rob Burger and the McCrary Sisters.

The awards event, which starts at 7:30 p.m. eastern, will stream live via Circle Network's Facebook, Twitter and YouTube channels (@CircleAllAccess), and NPRMusic.org. Live audio will be available via SiriusXM's Outlaw Country and on Nashville area terrestrial radio stations: WRLT (100.1 FM), WSM (650 AM) and WMOT (89.5 FM).
