Shane experiences "Blue Christmas"

Friday, October 28, 2022 – Wheelhouse Records artist Elvie Shane offers his take on "Blue Christmas," originally made famous by Elvis Presley.

"Getting to do my own version of a song Elvis made a holiday staple was a welcome opportunity," said Shane. "I love this song because it goes to show how Christmas isn't near the joy it could be if you're not sharing it with someone you Love. Merry Christmas Y'all."

Shane also will be on "Stoned Cold Country," a forthcoming project paying tribute to The Rolling Stones with "Sympathy For The Devil." Jimmie Allen, Brooks & Dunn, Brothers Osborne, Eric Church, Steve Earle, Elle King, Marcus King, Little Big Town, Ashley McBryde, Maren Morris, Elvie Shane, Koe Wetzel, The War And Treaty, Lainey Wilson and Zac Brown Band also participate.

A native of small-town Kentucky, Shane enjoyed success with "My Boy" topping the charts at country radio and being certified PLATINUM by the RIAA. The song is on his debut full length album, "Backslider."
