Nickel Creek coming to the Ryman

Tuesday, November 15, 2022 – Nickel Creek will return to Nashville for two shows at the Ryman Auditorium on April 27 and 28, 2023.

This marks the trio's first shows at the venue since 2014. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

The 2023 U.S. shows are preceded by performances at London's Union Chapel on January 27-28 and a stop at Glasgow's City Halls as part of Celtic Connections on Jan. 29, Nickel Creek's first United Kingdom dates in 20 years. The trio will also be honored with the "International Trailblazers" award during the UK Americana Awards on Jan. 26.

Nickel Creek is mandolinist Chris Thile, violinist Sara Watkins and guitarist Sean Watkins. Releasing their first album in 1993, their most recent studio disc was 2014's "A Dotted Line." The group has gone on numerous breaks over the years with band members being involved in other musical projects.
