Red Street Records signs Larkins
"We could not be more thrilled to add Ryan Larkins to the Red Street Country roster," DeMarcus said. "I believe Ryan has a once in a generation voice, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for him."
"I'm overly grateful for the opportunity to continue to be who I am, record the music I want to record and sign with a label that completely understands all that," Larkins said. "Huge thanks first to my family at home and the family at Red Street Records...and super excited to begin the next chapter of my musical journey."
Since he was 12, Larkins has been playing guitar and writing songs. He previously competed in the television singing competition show on CMT, Can You Duet, where he finished third. Larkins then went on to compete and won first place in WSM's Road Show Talent Competition.
Growing up as a Nashville native, Larkins shares inspiration in his songwriting from traditional country music. Larkins has worked with Jessi Alexander, Country Music Hall of Fame Member Bill Anderson, Steve Bogard, Scooter Carusoe, Monty Criswell, Tom Douglas, JT Harding, Connie Harrington, Tim Nichols and Tony Lane. In spring 2022, a song Larkins co-wrote with Bobby Tomberlin and Bill Anderson was recorded by Anderson and Dolly Parton, "Someday It'll All Make Sense." New music is expected from Larkins later this year.
