Underwood gets a little help from her friends

Thursday, March 2, 2023 – Carrie Underwood had a few friends in the house when she was in concert at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday.

Approximately 30 minutes into the two-hour plus show, Jason Aldean joined Underwood onstage to perform their multi-week number one hit single, "If I Didn't Love You," usually performed by a virtual version of her duet partner in the tour's set list.

The audience was surprised again later in the show, when Underwood's longtime friend and 11-time CMA Awards co-host Brad Paisley appeared next to her onstage. The pair performed a comedic parody number celebrating the unexpected reunion of "Paisleywood." They sang their hit duet, "Remind Me."

Opener Jimmie Allen returned to the stage to join Underwood for the title track from her "Denim & Rhinestones album."

Underwood's 43-city arena tour, The Denim & Rhinestones Tour, continues through March 17, with upcoming stops including Ohio, Texas, Arizona, the Pacific Northwest and L.A.'s Crypto.com Arena.

And make no mistake about it, this is a 'Christmas' album, as opposed to a 'holiday' release. These 11 tracks are nearly all spiritual in nature. Therefore, you won't hear about Santa, reindeer or even toys under the tree. The only truly secular track is "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," which is not – by a long ...
CD review - Cry Pretty Carrie Underwood's life was reading straight from the storybooks: one of the few American Idol Winners with ongoing success; a professional athlete for a husband; a beautiful baby boy. The string of great fortune turned sharply in 2017, when Underwood began the unfathomable experience of three consecutive lost pregnancies. This was atop a frightening fall at her home that ended with her face in nearly 50 stitches. Sharing these moments with her fans makes the beamingly-beautiful singer ...
