Traditionalists Munsick, Worthington drop new discs, so does Fulks
Jake Worthington, a real-life cowboy, debuts with his 13-song, self-titled album today on Big Loud Records. The set includes fiddles, steel guitar and piano. Joey Moi produced the release. ERNEST helps out on "Pop Goes the Whiskey." That was the only song that the Texas native did not help write. Worthington has had guest spots on "Hixtape: Vol. 2" with Ronnie Dunn and Jake Owen on "Jonesin'," Dunn's 2022 album "100 Proof Neon" on "Honky Tonk Town" and ERNEST's 2023 extension "FLOWER SHOPS (THE ALBUM): Two Dozen Roses" on "Heartache In My 100 Proof."
Robbie Fulks releases his new 12-track album, "Bluegrass Vacation," via Compass Records. Fulks, far better known for his traditional country sounds, once upon a time was a member of Special Consensus. Sam Bush, Sierra Hull, Ronnie McCoury, Tim O'Brien, Alison Brown, John Cowan and Jerry Douglas help out on the disc.
