Ramsey has "Reasons To Come Home"

Monday, June 5, 2023 – Mason Ramsey is out with "Reasons To Come Home," his first new music since 2019.

Ramsey, 16, will release an EP this fall via Atlantic Records.

"'Reasons To Come Home' is a very special song to me. It's all about my amazing grandparents, who raised me and are my only ties to my hometown of Golconda, Ill. While the song is a love letter to Golconda and all the things I love there, it's also a realization that when my grandparents are gone, I sadly won't have any reason to go back to Golconda," Ramsey said.

The song was penned by Rob Pennington, Jeff Middleton and Ramsey and produced by Aaron Eshuis.

As the youngest major label country artist signed in the genre in nearly two decades, Ramsey was discovered singing in an aisle at his local Walmart. Ramsey debuted with 2018's "Famous EP," which featured the title track, followed by the "Twang" EP in 2019.

Typically decked out in a cowboy hat (that sets him apart right there from most other country acts today), Ramsey sounds about his age. ...
