Tuttle rides her "Next Rodeo"
Directed by Edgar Evans, the video features Tuttle and her band, Golden Highway, as well as special guest actors Seth Clarke and Morgan Watkins.
Tuttle said, "My song 'Next Rodeo' is all about traveling from show to show and chasing down a dream. So, I wanted to showcase my band members and give the audience a glimpse of the personalities that make up Golden Highway. I love how this video captures the sense of friendship and camaraderie that is woven into our new album, 'City of Gold'. We had so much fun filming this video and hope you enjoy coming along for the wild ride."
"Next Rodeo" is the second track unveiled from Tuttle's "City of Gold," out July 21 via Nonesuch Records. Tuttle previously released "El Dorado."
The new album is the follow-up to 2022's "Crooked Tree," which won Best Bluegrass Album at the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards and also led to a Best New Artist nomination.
Produced by Tuttle and Jerry Douglas and recorded at Nashville's Sound Emporium Studios, "City of Gold" was inspired by Tuttle's constant touring with Golden Highway these past few years. Most of the 13 tracks were penned by Tuttle and Old Crow Medicine Show's Ketch Secor.
In addition to Tuttle (vocals, acoustic guitar), Douglas (Dobro) and Golden Highway is Bronwyn Keith-Hynes (fiddle, harmony vocals), Dominick Leslie (mandolin), Shelby Means (bass, harmony vocals) and Kyle Tuttle (banjo, harmony vocals). The disc also features special guest Dave Matthews on "Yosemite."
