Monday, August 21, 2023 – Wynonna, announced today she will launch a theatre tour – Back to Wy - in October.

The tour will feature the songs off Wynonna's first two solo albums – "Wynonna" (1992) and "Tell Me Why" (1993), performed track by track, front to back, followed by a finale of her other hits along with The Judds classics. The 15-city tour kicks off on Oct. 26 at Murat Theatre at Old National Centre in Indianapolis, Ind. making stops including San Antonio, Dallas, Louisville and more before wrapping up in Knoxville, Tenn. at Tennessee Theatre on Dec. 1.

"Getting to share this tour with the fans who have been with me for 40 years, means the world to me. Deep diving into my first two solo albums, "Wynonna" and "Tell Me Why," track by track, will be a trip down memory lane. As I sit and listen to these two records, I'm flooded with the memories that surrounded that time in my life. The fans held me up and supported me through that season of change in 1992, and I now see "herstory" repeating itself. This music healed me then and is healing me now. The circle of life continue," Judd said.

True, there is just one truly horrible moment, the rendition of Hank Williams' "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry. ...
CD review - A Classic Christmas Wynonna's first Christmas album as a solo singer is a truly great album with great music from start to finish. She does a fine job with the upbeat songs. She approaches "Winter Wonderland" and "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" with a jazzy vocal that complements the light-hearted lyrics. But she really shines on the ballads. "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is one highlight. The production is unobtrusive, and Wynonna's deep, rich voice is perfectly ...
CD review - Her Story: Scenes From A Lifetime What a story Wynonna has had growing up poor with her mother Naomi before the mother/daughter duo rose to great success in the '90s until hepatitis kept Naomi off the road and led to Wy going out on her own. This live set, recorded at the Ryman Feb. 1, offers music from throughout Wy's career. As she sings at the end of the opening "Dreamchaser," "Dreamchaser, that's what I am." Judd maintains an easy-going demeanor throughout sounding tougher on occasion while ...
