Dean releases songs via Apple

Thursday, October 12, 2023 – Jackson Dean released three tracks via Apple Music Nashville Sessions.

Recorded in Apple Music's studio in Nashville, Jackson recorded a cover of the hit "When A Man Loves A Woman," an unreleased original "Train" and "Heavens to Betsy," which was on his "Live At the Ryman" album. The Nashville Sessions are available exclusively on Apple Music.

"'When A Man Loves A Woman' is a classic. It's one of the great love songs of all time. The way Percy Sledge sang it, almost breaks your heart," said Dean. "I'd been thinking about covering it for a long time now because it's one of my parents' favorites, so that one was around a lot as a kid. Easy choice when Apple Music came knocking. We've also been playing 'Train' live for a while. So, I'm glad we get to share that one with folks too."

Each of the Apple Music Nashville Sessions were recorded as a full take.

Wrapping up summer tours with artists like Eric Church and Luke Bryan, Dean will make his Australian debut later this month before joining Jon Pardi out on the road.
