Freeman releases "Do You Recall" video
The video features illustrations by her grandfather, Williard Gayheart, an Appalachian pencil artist and musician who's been a major inspiration in her life.
"The song is a reflection of someone looking back over the years spent with their significant other. I think the video imagery captures that nostalgic, daydream type of feeling that the song evokes," said Freeman. "It was especially meaningful to me to work with my grandpa who I'm really close to. He's 91 years old and lives close by. His drawings appear on the walls and help create that feeling of looking back over the years."
Freeman's fifth studio album, "Do You Recall," contains 11 songs and was recorded at her home studio in Galax, Va. where she was also born and raised. It was produced by her husband Nicholas Falk, a drummer.
