Kent strips it down with "23"
Kent recorded the disc solo just down the road from his home in Texas.
Kent also released "Southeast Oklahoma Pines," a love letter that pays homage to his hometown of Broken Bow, Okla. Telling the tales of generations and expressing the comfort in returning home, Kent is reminded that even when life seems to be against him, "ain't nothing in the world can bring me down" when he's surrounded by the Oklahoma pines. The fan-driven project will also feature the highly personal song about Kent's wife, "You Know."
The track list is
1. Southeast Oklahoma Pines
2. Love Someone Else
3. Drown 'Em
4. You Know
5. Highways
6. Start a Fire
7. Don't Tell Her I Told You
8. Boys Growing Up
9. Hits Like a Girl
Earlier this year, Kent released his major label debut album, "Blacktop." The project features Kent's number one certified Platinum single "Wild As Her." The follow up single is"Something's Gonna Kill Me." Kent toured this year with Parker McCollum and Jason Aldean's 42-city "Highway Desperado" tour. He is now headlining shows of his own. Kent will start 2024 in the United Kingdom to play shows with Ashley McBryde before joining up with McCollum for 39 dates in the U.S. beginning in February.
