Barrett, Usrey release new batch of songs

Friday, February 2, 2024 – Three years later, which includes motherhood, Gabby Barrett is out with her sophomore disc, "Chapter & Verse." The Pennsylvania native co-produced with Ross Copperman, the 14-song release and helped pen nine songs. Barrett broke out with her 2020 debut, "Goldmine," which featured the 7x-Platinum "I Hope." In addition to co-writing with Miranda Lambert, Barrett teamed up with Luke Combs on "Dance Like No One's Watching." Barrett closes the disc with "The Verse: Doxology (Amen)," an a cappella rendition of one of Barrett's most cherished hymns, featuring Christian singer-songwriter Phil Wickham.

Tanner Usrey is out with "Crossing Lines (Deluxe)," an expanded version of his debut album, "Crossing Lines," via Atlantic Records. The deluxe versioin adds five previously unreleased acoustic renditions of songs including "Who I Am," "Last Goodbye" and the Texas-based artist's label debut, "Give It Some Time." The deluxe album releases alongside a live performance video for "Give It Some Time." Produced by Beau Bedford (Orville Peck, Paul Cauthen, The War And Treaty), "Crossing Lines" is highlighted by a new take of Usrey's single, "Beautiful Lies," now featuring rising country songstress Ella Langley.

She enlisted some of music city's best songwriting talent in in the form of Ross Copperman and Hillary Lindsey.
