Jelly Roll hosts Opry NextStage event prior to CMAs

Wednesday, March 20, 2024 – The Grand Ole Opry announced today that Jelly Roll will return as host for the "Opry NextStage Live From Texas" show in The Colony, Texas.

The special Opry event will precede the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards on May 16. Showcasing new acts, the lineup features members of the newly announced Opry NextStage Class of 2024, presented by Tecovas: Anne Wilson, Chase Matthew, Ella Langley, Flatland Cavalry, Madeline Edwards and Wyatt Flores plus other special guests.

"Opry NextStage is important because I think it's creating a culture around younger artists, introducing them to the Opry the right way and then bringing them up to that next stage," said Jelly Roll. "It's showing them the way and getting that Opry love that we all look for in the industry. There's no more special of a co-sign in country music than the Grand Ole Opry."

Tickets are available through an exclusive Opry subscriber pre-sale on Thursday at 11 a.m. eastern. The general public on-sale begins Friday at 11 a.m. eastern via Event Brite.
