Anderson looks to the "Bright Side of Blue"

Written by Anderson, Bonnie Dymond and Clara Calaway and produced by Dymond, the song chronicles Anderson's journey overcoming past struggles. The lyrics remind listeners of the light at the end of the tunnel during trying times. "The song is the first single off a six-song project due this summer.

"I've had some low lows in my life. Moments I wouldn't care to re-live but very thankful for because it taught me there's always a smile. Always a reason to keep going," said Anderson. "It's now a skill and practice I take with me everywhere I go and in everything I do. You can knock me off my feet and put me in the bluest of blues, but I'll always find a way to get to the bright side of it."

Anderson will have two headline shows in June - at the Bowery Ballroom in New York on June 1 and at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, Cal. on June 6. Anderson also will open on select dates of Tim McGraw's Standing Room Only Tour this spring. Anderson will be with McGraw:
