Beyonce releases "Cowboy Carter" track list - maybe
Bey posted an old-fashioned poster on her Instagram page listing the songs from Cowboy Carter and the Rode Chitlin' Circuit. At the bottom, the graphic reads "Brought to You by KNTRY Radio TEXAS."
Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton apparently are listed on the power and have been rumored to sing on the album. Nelson may appear on the song "Smoke Hour," but it was unclear. Ditto for Parton and "Jolene."
Beyonce teased the album during a Super Bowl commercial. She also released the hit single "Texas Hold 'Em" and "16 Carriages" right after that. "Texas Hold 'Em" became the first single ever by a Black country artist to top the country charts.
Songs on the release may be:
Jolene
American Requiem
Blackbird
Protector
My Rose
Smoke Hour, which may feature Nelson
Bodyguard
Daughter
Spaghetti
Alligator Tears
Smoke Hour II
Just For Fun
II Most Wanted
Levii's Jeans
Flamenco
The Linda Martell Show
Ya Ya
Off Louisiana
Desert Eagle
Riverdance
II Hands II Heaven
Tyrant
Sweet Honey Buckin'
Amen
Martell was the first Black woman to play the Grand Ole Opry. She had some success as a country singer, but eventually left and now lives in South Carolina.
