Montana rocks out

Friday, April 12, 2024 – Tim Montana is going in a different direction. He will release "Savage," his debut rock album, out July 12.

"'Savage' is a window into my world and what I was inspired by over the course of writing and recording this album," Montana said. "If there is a keystone or a decoder ring to the themes of these songs, 'Savage' is it. It's best enjoyed extremely loud."

The title track was released today. The disc is the follow-up to his 2022 country disc, "Long Shots."

The track list is:
"Devil You Know"
"Savage"
"Ashes"
"Die Today" "Shut Me Out"
"Right Again"
"Get You Some"
"Lovely"
"Day By Day"

The Montana native previously released a country EP for the label. He also collaborated with Billy Gibbons and Kid Rock. Montana co-wrote "Tennessee Mountain Top" and "Greatest Show on Earth" for Kid Rock's 2017 "Sweet Southern Sugar" album. Montana had released the rock song, "Devil You Know" last year.
