Acuff admits to "Scared of the Dark"

Friday, May 3, 2024 – Colby Acuff put out his first new release - "Scared of the Dark" - since his major label debut, "Western White Pines."

"'Scared of the Dark' represents the plague that is the mental health crisis around the world, but specifically the United States," Acuff said. "I've lost too many friends to suicide and it's time that we talk about the issues at hand."

Acuff's twang rings over an acoustic-driven instrumental, growing in intensity to a chorus crescendo. The solo-written track joins Acuff again with producer Eddie Spear.

Acuff recently kicked off his opening slot on Luke Combs' GROWIN' UP AND GETTIN' OLD summer stadium tour. He is also on his own headlining dates throughout the summer, as well as select shows with Charles Wesley Godwin and Whiskey Myers this fall.

Additional releases are expected soon.
