Bluegrass tributes Paxton
Wednesday, July 24, 2024 – "Bluegrass Sings Paxton" will offer a tribute to folk singer Tom Paxton via Mountain Home Music, coming out Aug. 30.
Paxton's "The Last Thing On My Mind" and "I Can't Help But Wonder Where I'm Bound" are bluegrass standards.
Producers Cathy Fink and Jon Weisberger gathered a wide-ranging group of bluegrass singers and pickers, including With music from: Paxton, Della Mae, Greg Blake, Alice Gerrard, Aaron Burdett of Steep Canyon Rangers, Claire Lynch, Sav Sankaran, Danny Paisley, Laurie Lewis, Tim O'Brien, Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer, Chris Jones and Sister Sadie.
