White takes the "Low Country High Road"
Friday, August 9, 2024 – After previously offering singles "Life, Love and War" and "10lbs of S#!T," country-soul artist Drake White will release "Low Country High Road" on Sept. 20.
The disc contains 13 songs. White released "Faith," a plaintive, blues-and-gospel-tinged plea of a new single. Co-written by White and Jonathan Singleton, "Faith" includes the lines "I've been one headlight flying/Down the midnight highway/And trying not to look behind me/At the roads I didn't take/Cause the one I'm on/Is the one I'm on tonight."
White sings atop a gospel choir as a bluesy electric guitar crescendos near the song's climax. The new disc is the follow-up to 2023's "The Bridge" EP.

His breezy "Living The Dream" single gives the city folk a nice survey of down-home life (the narrator has a spot picked for next year's deer on the wall).
The "Spark" record overall wins a TKO. There's more than enough ...
