The Cadillac 3's Johnston enters treatment for mental health

Monday, September 23, 2024 – The Cadillac 3's lead singer Jaren Johnston has entered treatment for mental health issues.

The group also cancelled its upcoming concerts.

"Friends — We want to be honest with you. Jaren has entered treatment for his mental health & well-being," the post read.

"The last few years have been challenging on a number of levels. The right thing to do right now is to make space to focus on family, health and longevity," the band said in a statement on its Instagram page. "With this news, our remaining 2024 shows will be canceled."

"We love our fans and the community we've built together," the post continued. "Canceling concerts is not something we take lightly. We have no doubt we will ride down the road again. Until then, we appreciate your respect and support for Jaren & his family. Peace & Love. TC3."

The trio consists of Johnston (lead vocals, guitar), Kelby Ray (lap steel guitar, bass guitar, vocals) and Neil Mason (drums, vocals). The group formed in 2011 and has released six albums. The most recent, "The Years Go Fast," came out in October 2023.

Johnston, Caldwell and Mason remained ...

This group incorporates some blues influence from The Black Crowes, mixed in some of The Georgia Satellites' winking sense of humor, to create the enjoyable Southern summer party that is "Bury Me in My Boots." The group reveals its funny side through "Ship Faced," a ...
