Gorley named to Songwriters HOF
Gorley will be joined by George Clinton; Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald and Patrick Simmons of the The Doobie Brothers; Rodney," "Darkchild" Jerkins; Mike Love and Tony Macaulay for the induction on June 12 in New York City.
Gorley had a hand in writing the hits," "I Had Some Help," "Last Night,"" ,"You Should Probably Leave,"" ,"Play It Again" and," "You're Gonna Miss This."

To qualify for induction, a songwriter with a notable catalog of songs qualifies for induction 20 years after the first commercial release of a song.
