Rissi Palmer interview with Maya Angelou repeated
Wednesday, March 5, 2008 – Oprah & Friends Radio will re-air Rissi Palmer's interview with Maya Angelou this weekend. The singer first talked with Angelou in October when her self-titled debut album was released. Throughout the interview, Palmer shares her hopes for a career in country music.
The show will be broadcast on Channel 156 on XM Satellite Radio; Sunday, March 10 at 2 a.m. and 11 a.m. eastern.

Rissi Palmer hit the charts with the sassy, uptempo single "Country Girl," but that doesn't represent the majority of tunes on her self-titled debut.
The Missouri native's 12-songs are chock full of ballads and a few mid-tempo songs. That's a good thing, considering Palmer has the vocal power to shine on everything from contemporary ballads like "I'm Not Of This World" and "Butterflies" to a well-done Patsy Cline cover, "Leavin' On Your Mind. ...
