Ballerini, Isbell, Hull, Hammack release music

Friday, March 7, 2025 – Kelsea Ballerini went the deluxe route with "Patterns (Deluxe)," out today on Black River Entertainment. The 20-song release, the follow-up to last fall's release, contains five new songs – "Future Tripping," "To The Men That Love Women After Heartbreak," "Put It To Bed," "Cut Me Up" and "Hindsight is Happiness." The autobiographical album, co-written entirely with female songwriters, debuted at number four on Billboard's Top 200 Albums and became her first to top the Billboard Country Albums chart.

Jason Isbell strips it down on "Foxes In The Snow" on Southeastern Records. The all-acoustic album was recorded in New York City at the famed Electric Lady Studios in October 2024. The 11-song release was recorded entirely on the same all-mahIogany 1940 Martin 0-17 acoustic guitar, and in the span of five days. This is Isbell's first new music since the award-winning "Weathervanes" with his band The 400 Unit, in 2023.

Sierra Hull is out with "A Tip Toe High Wire," her first album in five years and her first as an indie artist after having recorded for Rounder Records. While joined on the album by Bela Fleck, Tim O'Brien, and Aoife O'Donovan, Hull self-produced the disc with her touring band.

Capitol Records Nashville artist Caylee Hammack released her sophomore album, "Bed Of Roses," and a companion romance novel of the same name. The 13-song album was co-produced by Hammack, John Osborne and Dann Huff. This is the follow-up to her 2020 album, "If It Wasn't For You."

Mackenzie Carpenter makes her full-length debut with "Hey Country Queen" on The Valory Music Co. Carpenter helped write all 13 songs. Carpenter received some help from help on "I Wish You Would." The Hull, Ga. native has enjoyed success as a songwriter as well, having penned Megan Moroney's "I'm Not Pretty," "Indifferent" and "28th of June" and Lily Rose's number one hit "VIllian."

Chase Rice has surprised fans with today's release of a special three-song EP, "Live From Chief's." The songs were captured during his recent acoustic shows at Chief's on Broadway in Nashville on Feb. 13 and 14. The release covers Eric Church's "Carolina," one of the first songs Rice was inspired to learn to play on guitar during his college years at University of North Carolina, and George Strait's rodeo hit "I Can Still Make Cheyenne" plus the previously unreleased "Cowboy Goodbye," a yearning song co-written by Rice with Oscar Charles and Foy Vance during a recent post-Red Rocks retreat in Colorado.

Tyler Rich releases his sophomore album, "Hello California," via ONErpm. This 10-track independent project tells the story of a California native who found his voice in Nashville. It's the first half of a double album, with the second half set to be released later this year. Rich co-wrote all 10 songs.

Kat Luna, formerly of Kat & Alex, dropped the EP "That Girl" on Sony Music Nashville. Produced by Nathan Chapman, Luna co-wrote all eight tracks. Luna sings in both Spanish and English.
