Shelton, Flatts revamp "Mayberry"
Friday, March 28, 2025 – Blake Shelton and Rascal Flatts teamed up to revamp "Mayberry," resulting in a twangy rendition of the 2002 chart-topper out today.
The third release from the trio's "Life is a Highway: Refueled Duets," the song contasts Shelton's baritone with the Flatts' harmonies.
"It was so much fun playing with Blake again. He was on our first two tours with us back in the day, and it means so much that he wanted to do this project with us," said Joe Don Rooney. "He's one of the best in the business. He truly owned this song. It sounds like a Blake Shelton record now.
The upcoming CD is out June 6 via Big Machine.
