Brothers Osborne want to "Finish this Drink"

Friday, April 4, 2025 – Brothers Osborne shared today their new single, "Finish This Drink," the band's first new music since the release of their "Break Mine" EP.

"Finish This Drink" is self-produced by TJ and John Osborne, was tracked at John's new studio, Pine Box, and previews forthcoming music from the duo.

TJ, who is the lead singer said, "When my brother and I were little, our dad would always say that he would leave as soon as he finished his drink only to be there for the rest of the night. Fast-forward to a few years ago, I was grabbing a couple drinks with Jaren Johnston (of The Cadillac Three) when a couple drinks turned into getting back home at 4 a.m., and then I thought, well the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. A few mornings later, I'm having breakfast by myself at Waffle House, and I just started singing the chorus to myself, and I had to go into the bathroom to record the idea so I wouldn't forget it."

The band has tour dates throughout 2025, including a performance at Stagecoach Festival later this month.

While the former have a long long way to go beyond they reach the stature of one of the leading bluegrass duos in the genre, the newbies show they are onto something - in the country sector. Brothers Osborne have Outlaw Country and swampy ("Dirt Rich," "Pawn Shop") vibes going on filling their southern rock-veering debut, a follow-up on a September 2014 EP (two of the EP ...
