Watkins know she will "Lose My Cool"

Friday, April 4, 2025 – Big Loud Records' Lauren Watkins offered a new song, "Lose My Cool," out now.

This is her first release since her full-length 2024 debut album, "The Heartbroken Record."

Watkins also released a video for the song.

"I'm so excited for this song to be out in the world," sai dWatkins. "This song is a snapshot of this season of my life – free, hopeful and unapologetically happy. Fans have known me as the heartbroken girl, but being in love and married now is new territory for me. This song is about embracing that, showing my cards and letting go. I'm excited for fans to see a new side of me."

Penned by Watkins, producer Will Bundy, Nicolle Galyon and Rodney Clawson, "Lose My Cool" captures the rush of letting your walls come down for the right person.

The Nashville-bred artist hits the road this weekend with Zach Top for his Cold Beer and Country Music Tour, which visited her old stomping grounds of Oxford, Miss. on Wednesday. Watkins went to college at the. University of Mississippi. After spending 2024 on Morgan Wallen's One Night At A Time Tour, Watkins joins Riley Green and Lainey Wilson this summer and fall.
