Jason Aldean gets "Stripped"

Monday, March 10, 2008 – Jason Aldean will appear in Clear Channel's acoustic series - Sripped - starting Tuesday, March 11 with distribution to over 120 Clear Channel radio stations' web sites.

Aldean will play a five-song set including his hits "Johnny Cash," "Hicktown," "Amarillo Sky" "Laughed Until We Cried" and a cover of John Anderson's "Black Sheep," along with new interview footage.

"Being at CRS last week was a great reminder for me what a huge role country radio has had in my success to this point, so it is fun to offer them something special that you can't get anywhere else," said Aldean of Country Radio Seminar, held in Nashville. "We are so used to peforming our show out on the road with electric guitars blazing that it is nice to go back into a studio and try a different set up."

The performance will be at www.strippedmusic.com.

Aldean's current single "Laughed Until We Cried" marks the Georgia-native's fifth consecutive Top 10 hit as it lands at number 9 this week on the charts.

Aldean is currently on the road on his first solo tour across the U.S. and Canada. He will join Tim McGraw on his "Live Your Voice" tour beginning in May and hitting more than 30 cities across the nation.

The 15 tracks are mainly juiced up, muscular numbers with scorching guitar. Ironically, amid the torrid tempos and high volume that dominate the collection, the ballads are the standouts, especially with the duet with the Miranda Lambert on "Drowns The Whiskey." Instead of whiskey drowning a memory, the inverse ...
