Adell shows her "Snakeskin"
Penned by Adell, Akil "worldwidefresh" King, Michael Lotten, Stephen "Di Genius" McGregor, Josh Miller, Will Weatherly and Anthony Germaine White, the mid-tempo tune provides a safe space for the broken.
"I wrote this song for people who have been broken so many times that they think they're hard to love," said Adell. "I want it to be a safe space where you can push back against that painful inner narrative. A place where even the most wounded hearts can still be held, healed and loved."
Earlier this week, Adell announced her summer tour, The Giddy Up, Gorgeous Tour. The tour will hit seven cities across the country including major markets like Nashville, Atlanta and Houston.
"I can't wait to see all the Bunnies on The Giddy Up, Gorgeous Tour this summer," said Adell. "It's not just about playing songs. It's about sharing stories, energy and real moments with the people who've been riding with me since day one...Pack your boots, your glitter and your heartbreak . This tour's about to be a full-blown emotional rodeo."
"Snakeskin" follows her previous release "Going Blonde," her most vulnerable song yet. Written alone by Adell on a Nashville barstool, "Going Blonde" digs into the impact of Adell's adoption at birth.
