Langley, Moroney, Wilson top ACM nominations
Zach Top, who just released his second album scored five nominations. Riley Green and Cody Johnson had four nominations each. Kristian Bush, Carson Chamberlain, Luke Combs, Charlie Handsome, Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen each secured three nominations.
Vying for the night's highest honor, CMA Entertainer of the Year, are Luke Combs, Johnson, Stapleton, Wallen and Wilson.
The show broadcasts live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 8-11 p.m. on ABC.

The awards are voted on by the 7,132 voting-eligible CMA professional members.

CD reviews
Although Megan Moroney titles her album "Lucky," luck has nothing to do with its success. The football-themed love song "Tennessee Orange" was the first introduction to Moroney for many, but her consistently high-quality album is ending up on many 'best albums of 2023' lists for good reason. Even its extended 15-song deluxe edition has no weak cuts.
It may be difficult to get past how sad Moroney sounds on the otherwise happy love song "Tennessee Orange," ...
Lainey Wilson was named Billboard's Top New Country Artist of 2021, ACM 2022 New Female Artist of the Year, CMT's 2022 "Breakout Artist of the Year" and scored six CMA Awards nominations, some impressive achievements for a relatively new face on the country music scene. This new album only confirms that she is a unique talent with her own sound in a genre that usually rewards conformity and sameness.
