Ricky Skaggs recuts country songs bluegrass style
Tuesday, April 1, 2008 – Ricky Skaggs just released a Bill Monroe tribute disc, but he's not done with releases for the year. He has recut his country hits from his Epic Records days bluegrass style through the Cracker Barrel label.
The set was originally expected in April, but will be delayed, possibly until mid-summer.
"It's in the can," said Terry Morris of Skaggs Family Records. He said that mastering needs to be done.
Cracker Barrel has released several albums in recent years including Alabama and Josh Turner.
