Urban, Midland, Wetzel, Gill offer new music

Midland is out with their fifth studio album, "Stages," via Blue Highway Records. With eight of the 10 songs produced by Trent Willmon, the record delivers another dose of retro country from the trio of Mark Wystrach, Cameron Duddy and Jess Carso. Clink Black guests on "Up In Texas." "I Wish You Would" features Mackenzie Carpenter.j

Koe Wetzel drops "The Night Champion" on Columbia Records. The 11-song project was produced by Gabe Simon. Wetzel helped write all but one of the songs. Wetzel said, "I survived the night side of me. I'm coming out of it a champion. That's the essence of this record."

Vince Gill releases "A Mother's Prayer," the newest in his year-long EP series titled "50 Years From Home." Six of the seven songs are ne with a reprise of "I Believe in You." Gill recorded at his home studio near Nashville, with engineers Justin Niebank and Matt Rausch and a core group of musicians that includes John Jarvis and Gordon Mote on piano, guitarists Jedd Hughes and Tom Bukovac, steel guitarist Paul Franklin, Jim "Moose" Brown on organ, bassist Jimmie Lee Sloas and drummer Fred Eltringham.

Graham Barham made his debut with "Club Country." He has enjoyed success with the release of singles for Sony. Barham, a Louisiana native, helped write all1 6 songs including "Oil Money."

Old Dominion guitarist Brad Tursi offered his sophomore solo album, "Colorado." The 11-song collection was self-produced and largely self-written. The album includes previously released singles "Time With You," a ragtime-leaning duet featuring Lukas Nelson, and "Hard to Get High."

Breakfield released their self-titled album via Rounder Records. Produced by The 400 Unit's Sadler Vaden (Jason Isbell, Beck, Morgan Wade), Breakfield reincarnates the band formerly named Boy Named Banjo as a quartet. Formed in their teens, Breakfield includes Barton Davies (vocals/banjo), William Reames (guitar/vocals/harmonica), Ford Garrard (bass) and Sam McCullough (drums). The self-titled album follows their 2023 LP, "Dusk."

Country traditionalist Kenny Whitmire releases a seven-song debut EP, "Fool In A King Size Bed," today via MCA. Relocating to Nashville in 2022 from Woodstock, Ga. after one semester of college, Whitmire fell quickly into Music City's songwriting community.

Bluegrass duo Dailey & Vincent released their a studio album, "A Beautiful Life." The duo produced the 12-song release blending bluegrass, country, gospel, and Americana.

Redferrin releases his debut full-length, "Been There Done That," via Warner Records Nashville. Born and raised in White House, Tenn., Blake Redferrin — known professionally as Redferrin — has spent years behind the scenes as a sought-after songwriter. He blends storytelling with rap and trap.

Jon Pardi reissues "CALIFORNIA SUNRISE (10th ANNIVERSARY EDITION)" on MCA with three unreleased songs from the vault: the sunshine-soaked singalong "Drinkin' and Dancin'," the country rocker "If I Had Another Heart" and "How Did You Know." The original featured "Night Shift, " "Head Over Boots" and "Dirt On My Boots."

The deluxe version of Chris Young's album "I Didn't Come Here To Leave" was released today with three new songs.
