Lady Antebellum win proves "too exciting"
Monday, May 19, 2008 – Lady Antebellum may not have even released a CD when it was nominated for best new group at the Academy of Country Music awards held Sunday night. But the three members of Lady Antebellum are now glowing because of their win.
"I'm so fired up right now," said Charles Kelley. "We never imagined that we'd be embraced this early in our career. I love country music."
"This is just too incredible" said Dave Haywood. "This past year has been a complete whirlwind...from signing our deal, playing the Opry, releasing an album...and now this. We are blessed to have such support from everyone."
"I had the most amazing dance party last night in Vegas to celebrate" said Hillary Scott. "This is so exciting."
The trio released their debut CD in April on Capitol Nashville.
