Calexico plans new CD for September

Tuesday, June 3, 2008 – Two years after "Garden Ruin," Calexico will release "Carried To Dust" the new full-length record due Sept. 9 on Touch & Go Records. Calexico co-founders Joey Burns and John Convertino called on a rotating cast of musicians. The band lineup that solidified around "Feast of Wire" returns along with a number of guests, including Sam Beam (aka Iron & Wine), Douglas McCombs, and Pieta Brown.

The band also will hit the road. Tour dates are:
