Sara Evans gets married

Monday, June 16, 2008 – Sara Evans married former University of Alabama quarterback Jay Barker Saturday night in an outdoor ceremony at a Franklin, Tenn., farm.

Evans' three children and Barker's four children were the attendants during the ceremony. Evans and Barker were previously married. Nashville songwriter Marcus Hummon sang "God Bless the Broken Road" during the ceremony.

The couple met during Barker's morning sports show in Birmingham, Ala.
