Julianne Hough nominated for Emmy
Monday, July 21, 2008 – Julianne Hough was nominated for an Emmy Award in the category of "Outstanding Choreography" for her Mambo routine on Dancing With The Stars. Hough was a two-time winner of the dance competition.
Others nominated this year were Kenny Ortega, Charles Klapow & Bonnie Story (High School Musical 2), Wade Robson (So You Think You Can Dance), Shane Sparks (So You Think You Can Dance), and Mandy Moore (So You Think You Can Dance). The winner will be announced at the Creative Arts Emmys on Saturday, Sept. 13.
Hough's debut CD was released in May. She will be on tour with Brad Paisley this fall.

At only eight songs long, this Julianne Hough CD might as well be subtitled "Julianne Hough's Abbreviated Christmas." Saying it has eight tracks is being overly generous because the opener, Sound of Christmas is a 1:09 instrumental and Christmas Memories is merely Hough talking about childhood Christmases over music.
