Former Sugarland member sues Nettles, Bush
Friday, August 8, 2008 – A founding member of Sugarland, who left after the first album, is suing the remaining two members for $1.5 million.
Kristen Hall filed suit last month in U.S. District Court in Atlanta. She claimed she was slated to get an equal cut of the profits after she left in 2005 for a solo career. Hall left, reportedly under amicable conditions. Since then, Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush have seen the band's popularity soar.
