Dierks Bentley gets ready to ride
Thursday, August 14, 2008 – Dierks Bentley will host his third annual Miles & Music for Kids celebrity motorcycle ride and concert to benefit Vanderbilt Children's Hospital on Sunday, Oct. 5. The hour-long ride will travel though downtown Nashville and other areas, ending with a jam session featuring Bentley and friend, including Tim McGraw and John Rich. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
"This event has turned into one of the highlights of my year," said Bentley. "I can't think of a better way to spend an October day in Nashville than riding motorcycles in the afternoon and playing guitars and singing with some buddies at sundown. Everyone has been so supportive, and I'm really proud of the money we've been able to raise for Vanderbilt over the last few years."
In the two previous years, Miles & Music for Kids has raised more than $250,000 for Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, a non-profit teaching and research hospital.
