Carlene Carter plays Mountain Stage
Thursday, October 9, 2008 – Carlene Carter will hit the airways this week (Oct. 10-17) as she headlines Mountain Stage. The NPR show was recorded live earlier this fall in Bristol, Tenn. and Va., where her grandmother Maybelle and family honed their craft that would forever change live music performances. The show features self penned songs from Carlene's current Yep Roc LP "Stronger," and several traditional Carter family tunes.
