The Eagles will perform at CMAs

Thursday, October 16, 2008 – The Eagles will perform on the 42nd Annual CMA Awards on Nov. 12 in Nashville.

Previously announced performers include co-hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, Trace Adkins, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney and The Wailers, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, George Strait, Sugarland, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban.

"We were honored last year when the Eagles chose the CMA Awards to give their first televised awards performance," said Tammy Genovese, CMA Chief Executive Officer. "We are excited to welcome them back again this year as both performers and nominees."
