Jason Aldean debuts new single

Wednesday, November 5, 2008 – Jason Aldean will debut the lead single, She's Country, from his third studio album on the 2008 Country Music Awards next Wed., Nov. 12 on ABC. The track also will be available for download through iTunes. Aldean's fan club, the Aldean Army, will get a free download through www.jasonaldean.com immediately following the performance. She's Country goes for adds at country radio on Dec. 1.

"This song is a shout out to all the country girls out there, living in small towns and big cities from Georgia to Kansas," said Aldean. "There's a lyric in there that says 'she's country from the songs she plays to the prayers she prays,' and that says it all. It's a way of life, the only one I know, and it's nothin' but country."

Aldean, who is nominated in the "New Artist of the Year" category at this year's CMA's, is currently headlining CMT ON TOUR: JASON ALDEAN with special guest Lady Antebellum with shows leading right up to the awards in Springfield, Mo,; Topeka and Salina, Kansas and Wichita Falls, Texas this week.
