Drive-By Truckers, Oberst, X play Coachella

Friday, January 30, 2009 – The Drive-By Truckers, Conor Oberst and Calexico are among the rootsy acts will play this year's Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in April.

The event, which comes a week before the StageCoach fest for country music, will also include Paul McCartney, The Cure, The Killers and Leonard Cohen.

Playing Friday, April 17 are Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band and Ryan Bingham. Oberst's most recent disc had a country bent to it.

Drive-By Truckers and Calexico play Saturday, April 18.

On the closing day, Sunday, April 19, X will perform.
