Urban goes platinum four times over
Monday, October 30, 2006 – Keith Urban's "Be Here," his third solo album, is now four times platinum, marking sales of over four million albums, according to the RIAA.
“We celebrate the extraordinary success of Be Here achieving four million sales, a career high,” said Bill Kennedy, VP Sales at Capitol Records Nashville. “And we join fans across the country in looking forward to Keith’s new release next week.”
“Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing” is Urban's Capitol release out Nov. 7.
The singer currently is in rehabilitation and did not make a statement.
"Be Here," released in September 2004, has had three number one singles: “Days Go By,” “Making Memories of Us” and “Better Life.”
