Aaron Watson goes live
Monday, April 27, 2009
– Aaron Watson will record a live album, "Deep In The Heart Of Texas: Aaron Watson Live at Hog Creek Icehouse's," on June 27 in Waco, Texas. Look for the CD, DVD and digital release on Sept. 15 through Unrest Music.
"Our last live record was done way back in 2005, and the material and my live show has changed so much with the release of 'San Angelo' and 'Angels & Outlaws' that I felt it was definitely time to record another live record for the fans before we start working on our new studio record that will come out sometime in 2010," said Watson.
"We chose Waco because it's right in the middle of every market that I play in Texas, and I wanted everyone to be a part of this recording, not just fans in one town," he said.
A total of 4,000 general admission tickets will be available. Tickets go on sale Saturday, May 16.

When you've heard one, you've heard them all," It's probably exactly how a meeting with the spirit of an ...
When Aaron Watson titled his holiday album "An Aaron Watson Family Christmas," he wasn't kidding about the "family" part. Although his children - Jake, Jack and Jolee - are advertised as making cameo appearances, they're actually an essential part. "Christmas Time Is Here," for example, is an all-kids rendition. Watson's kids give this album special charm, while his singing and playing bring the traditional skill.
This album includes a couple of new songs. ...
