John Anderson keyboardist dies

Sunday, May 3, 2009 – Darel Decounter, keyboardist and back-up vocalist for the John Anderson Band for 16 years, died. His age and cause of death were unknown.

Decounter was raised in Good Hope Ill. He moved to Nashville 20 years ago to pursue his career in music. He also toured and recorded with Randy Travis, Jerry Reed, Shelby Lynne, Bill Anderson, Helen Cornelius and Cristy Lane.
