Jason Aldean goes digital gold with She's Country
Monday, May 4, 2009 – Jason Aldean's current chart-topper She's Country was certified gold by the RIAA for having sold more than 500,000 digital downloads. During couch time on the The Bonnie Hunt Show last Thursday, Hunt surprised Aldean with a plaque commemorating the milestone before his performance of the hit.
The song is also spending its second week at the top of the country chart, making the multi-week number one Aldean's first.
Aldean will team up with Bryan Adams this week to tape a collaboration for CMT's Crossroads, before picking back up on his Wide Open tour this week starting with New York City on Wednesday.

Jason Aldean's 10th studio album "Georgia "initially seems like yeoman's effort. As the second half of a double album that follows last year's "Macon," the collection boasts 30 songs; 20 are new.
