Vince Gill goes for the gold
Monday, November 27, 2006 – Five weeks after its release, Vince Gill's four-album set,
"These Days," was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) selling 500,000 albums.
Gill said, "It feels great to have something I worked on so hard to be embraced like it has been."
Gill co-wrote all 43 songs in the collection that embraces the country, bluegrass, pop, jazz and gospel. He also co-produced the set and is currently rounding out a 27-date These Days Tour with his 16-piece band.
Gill's current single, "The Reason Why," is currently Top 30 and the video is in rotation at CMT and GAC.
