Underwood tells everybody so - she's number one, again
Monday, May 11, 2009 – Carrie Underwood hits another milestone 10 as her current hit, I Told You So, becomes her 10th single. She assumes the spot from Jason Aldean's She's Country.
While the song appears on "Carnival Ride," the song that became number one is actually only available as a digital download with Randy Travis singing along. Travis is not on the original studio effort of Underwood. The song goes to the top with Travis 21 years after Travis first saw his composition hit the chart summit. She becomes the first country artist to return a song to number one since Alan Jackson took the Don Williams classic, It Must Be Love, almost nine years ago.
