Shooter Jennings gets engaged from stage
Monday, June 15, 2009 – Shooter Jennings and long-time girlfriend actress Drea de Matteo are getting married.
On his Twitter page, Jennings wrote, "Asked drea to marry me on stage tonight. I'm a lucky man. I'll never forget Utica, Ny." Jennings popped the question from the stage in Utica.
The two have dated since 2001 and are the parents of an 18-month-old daughter, Alabama.
DeMatteo, 37, was on "The Sopranos" show. Jennings is the son of Jessi Colter and Waylon Jennings.

Shooter Jennings' tribute album of Warren Zevon covers is clearly a labor of love. Zevon was a legendary Los Angeles singer/songwriter that somehow has been overlooked by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Jennings, though, has chosen to willfully focus his attention on this great artist's life work with this excellent overview. If you really need any more proof of Zevon's greatness, just give it a listen.
